Anu Malik Can Shoot At YRF If He Returns As Indian Idol Judge
A few days back, there were reports claiming that music composer, Anu Malik, who is a sexual misconduct accused, has been banned at YRF studios and will not be allowed to shoot for Indian Idol if he returns as a judge on the show. However, the reports are untrue
Anu Malik, who has been accused in a sexual misconduct case, was removed as a judge from his singing reality show, Indian Idol 10. A few days back, we told you that the music composer may return as a judge on the same show’s upcoming 11th season. Sony is already in talks with Malik.
Now, a few days back it was reported that Yash Raj Films have banned Anu Malik’s entry in their studio, which may cause hindrance in his return as the show’s judge as it SONY Tv’s singing reality show is shot at YRF studios. However, SpotboyE.com has found out from its well-placed sources at YRF that the news is untrue and they don’t have any such diktat. In case, Anu returns as a judge, he can enter the premises and very well shoot for the show.
For those who’ve come in late, Anu was accused of inappropriate behaviour by a few from his fraternity. First, it was Sona Mohapatra who slammed him and said that he was a "serial predator." Next, Shweta Pandit also lashed out against the music composer claiming that he asked her to kiss him when she was just 15. Indian Idol's former assistant producer, Danica D’Souza had also spoken to Mid-Day about Anu's misconduct. After these incessant accusations, Sony TV decided to part ways with Anu Malik. Singer Javed Ali had then stepped into his shoes as the judge for the remaining part of the season. However, now the channel seems to have changed their mind.
